Pat McClain has served as COO/CFO for a number of emerging high growth public and private technologies companies over the past 30 years.  He has worked with entrepreneurs to build deep leadership teams, drive topline revenue growth and implement operational efficiencies to drive profitability and positive cashflows.  He served as SVP and CFO of biotech concern, Rules-Based Medicine (“RBM”), spinning that pre-revenue private company out of publicly held Luminex Corporation.  Following the RBM acquisition, McClain joined Austin based PE sponsored B2B global enterprise software solutions company, Aurea Software as CFO.  He has worked with functional leadership through eight additional acquisitions of SaaS revenue model business across a variety of verticals including both domestic and EU based companies. McClain has operated a management consulting company over most of his career and worked with over 20 early-stage technology and life science focused companies.  He previously worked for Price Waterhouse and holds a BBA degree in accounting from Ohio University.
